Annual Meeting Announcement 2017

Rural Water District #6 is announcing its Annual Meeting of Landowners who own a benefit unit in the district. The meeting will be on Thursday April 20th 2017 at the District Office located west of Wagoner at 2219 W Hwy 51 next to the Kum and Go, at 7:00 p.m. Come hear how the District is doing financially and how it affects you as a landowner in Rural Water District #6.
It’s also election time for the District’s Board of Directors. There will be two (2) expiring positions on the Board this year. Landowners will be able to nominate and vote on the two Board of Directors positions that will be up for nominations.
Criteria for nominees:
The nominees must be a benefit unit owner with an active account in good standing.
The nominees must be willing to run (terms last for 3 years).
After nominations the nominees, if they want, will be allowed 10 minutes to state their reason(s) they want to represent the RWD #6 membership at the board meetings.
Afterward the landowners will then be allowed to vote for who they think will be the best representative of the District. The landowners are allowed only one vote even if they have more than one benefit unit in the water district.
